About the Role
We are currently recruiting for two Customer Services Representatives to join a well-established and growing logistics business based in Irlam, Manchester.
Working as part of an established customer service team, you will act as the key link between customers, the transport/traffic team and delivery partners. You will be responsible for keeping customers informed, resolving issues and ensuring a high level of service is maintained at all times.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous logistics, transport or customer service experience who enjoys working in a busy environment and takes pride in providing great customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Handling inbound customer enquiries by telephone and email in a professional and timely manner
Liaising with customers and delivery partners regarding service issues and keeping customers updated
Tracking deliveries and resolving delays, damages and failed collections
Working closely with the transport/traffic team and delivery partners to resolve issues
Managing customer claims through to resolution
Checking and querying carrier invoices and liaising with suppliers regarding invoices and payments
Processing and scanning documents accurately and within required deadlines
Producing regular reports
Entering and retrieving information from internal systems while maintaining accurate customer records
Supporting other departments when required
