Summary
To deliver and maintain a professional administrative service to the Cancer directorate and all users patients, relatives and colleagues.
Monitor and produce work of the quality and quantity required ensuring expected Trust and department standards and deadlines are met and all appointments are within the Government and Trust target times.
Direct contact with patients.
Greet visitors face-to-face and respond to requests for a range of information.
Receive and respond to telephone calls dealing with a range of requests.
Receive and respond to emails for a range of requests.
Book appointments and transport.
Check patient information.
Photocopy and filing.
Input information on Trust systems.
Attend handover meetings as required taking notes when necessary.
Ensure all tests/treatments requested are booked.
Cover Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays. Also Bank Holidays on a rotational basis.

- or you will have successfully completed your course and have applied for a Graduate visa before the anticipated start date of your employment
All roles in the Trust include a mandatory 12-week training period. Therefore successful candidates are expected to have the Right to Work for a period of at least 6 months from the proposed start date.
