The City of Edinburgh Council's award-winning communications team is searching for a Senior Employee Communications Officer to help drive positive change across our diverse and dynamic organisation.
We keep over 19,000 colleagues informed, involved, and empowered and champion our core Behaviours of Respect, Integrity, and Flexibility. As part of our dedicated employee communications team, you'll be instrumental in shaping the future of work for colleagues delivering more than 750 services across the city.
In this role, you'll:- Collaborate closely with our Human Resources team to craft engaging communications that support the wellbeing and engagement of all colleagues.
- Translate complex information and change programmes into clear, accessible, and inspiring content for a wide range of audiences.
- Develop creative campaigns and initiatives that foster inclusion, awareness, and understanding of new or updated policies and practices.
- Use a variety of channels, from our news site to events and videos, to reach and engage our people.
- Champion best practice, innovation, and fresh ideas in everything you do, helping us stay at the forefront of employee engagement.
