Summary
We are seeking a friendly and reliable Medicines Counter Assistant to join our community pharmacy team.
The role includes:
Welcoming customers and identifying their needs
Advising on over-the-counter medicines within your competence
Referring customers to the pharmacist when appropriate
Supporting NHS and private pharmacy services
Processing prescriptions and handling payments
Receiving, checking and putting away stock
Maintaining a clean, professional and well-organised pharmacy
Following pharmacy procedures, confidentiality requirements and safeguarding policies
