Hours: Saturday 8.30am to 5.30pm

Contract: Permanent

Our Dog Grooming department is highly successful, with plans to grow the provision further. Our One Garden Brighton Dog Grooming Parlour is fully furnished and ready to welcome dogs of all sizes and coat types, along with their owners, for business at the One Garden Brighton site.

Working with Plumpton College, we offer a full range of dog grooming services through a fully qualified team of dog groomers and trainee students (on set days), delivering industry best practice with your dog’s care and wellbeing at the centre in a commercial studio.

We are now looking to recruit experienced and ambitious Dog Groomers to form an integral part of our team.

The ideal candidate will be a City & Guilds Level 3, or equivalent, qualified dog groomer with at least two years’ experience in grooming. The candidate will need to be professional, hardworking, creative, organised, and confident working independently as well as part of a team. This role will involve solo working, and the successful candidate will be expected to complete around four grooms per day. The role requires strong communication skills across a broad age range, a flexible approach, and competence in using IT. It is crucial that the successful candidate shares our organisational values, equality of opportunity, and parity of esteem for staff and students.

To apply please send a current CV to recruitment@plumpton.ac.uk.

We reserve the right to call candidates to interview/withdraw this vacancy at any time if there is a good level of response. Therefore, we recommend you submit your application as soon as possible.
