Summary

CIS Security have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Security Officer to join our team. In this role, you will act as a professional ambassador for CIS Security, representing our standards and values at all times. You will deliver high-quality guarding services, maintain a strong security presence, and provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and service users.This position is based within a large, modern, multi-storey corporate building that supports a high volume of daily staff, visitors, and contractors. The environment includes a mix of public-facing areas, office spaces, event facilities, and specialist zones, requiring a proactive and adaptable approach to security and customer service. You will play a key role in ensuring the safety, smooth operation, and positive experience of everyone on site.Information Position: Security OfficerLocation: London (NW1)Pay Rate: £14.95 per hourHours: Average 42 hours per week Shifts: 4 On 4 Off - DaysJob Requirements:SIA Licence required.Corporate Security, Concierge or Front of House experience for at least 1 year an advantageEx forces would be an advantage.Must be flexible and be able to workdays, nights, weekends and have the flexibility to change due to operational needs.Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as customer service at all timesMust have an excellent command of English Language & Good IT Skills.Reliable, Responsible and Punctual.A friendly, professional, courteous, and outgoing character.To take pride in your appearance at all times, ensuring immaculate presentationFlexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.First Aid qualification & a CCTV SIA Licence are desirable.Be confident you are able to undertake 100% of all specific duties.Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requestedJob Responsibilities: Able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our customers and service users.Able to work in a team as well as on your own and have the ability to be pro-active and think on your feet use initiative.Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations.Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally and able to stand/walk during shift.Confident in writing incident and shift reportsTo always portray a friendly, professional, and courteous demeanour, using open and appropriate body language.To ensure that all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, providing an exceptional customer service at all times ensuring that their expectations are met, if not exceeded.Have the IT skills and the ability to understand and use varied Access Control and CCTV systems and platforms / integrated systems (Lots of sites use different Systems)Have the ability to write emails and reply to emails in the correct manner and speak, very important in Corporate Industry.Have the ability to exercise command and control and be an effective communicator to all peer groups and management levels.Able to understand Corporate Escalation Process, - Escalate and Disseminate information in a timely manner to the correct personnel in the event or during an emergency or Incident on site.The role includes you to conduct opening & closing procedures of a building, patrolling, reception duties, access control, answering incoming telephone calls, Conducting emergency procedures.Benefits:Health care plan (HSF)Perk Box (HSF) - discounts & offers from cinema tickets to days outCycle to work schemeTailored Site UniformFirst class training allowing you to develop your skillsA view for career developmentLong service & Employee Recognition awardsAnd much more!!CIS Security has been providing manned guarding services since 1972 and has developed into one of the most effective and reliable security companies in England.
