Summary
Connect Appointments is recruiting an
experienced Cask Handler to join our client based in the East End of Glasgow.
Our client operates a busy spirit filling and warehousing facility, offering consistent Monday to Friday work with an early finish every Friday and immediate starts available.
What's on offer?
- Ongoing temporary position
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm (early finish on Fridays)
- Paid weekly at £13.55 per hour
- Immediate start available
As a Cask Handler, your duties will include:
- Safely moving spirit in line with established process procedures
- Supporting filling, warehousing and disgorging activities across the site
- Handling empty casks safely and efficiently
- Meeting targets for quality, service and cost
- Working in line with health and safety requirements at all times
To be considered as a Cask Handler, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years' cask handling experience
- Previous experience in a production, manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Familiarity with drinks industry legislation and health and safety requirements around cask handling
- A reliable, safety-focused approach to work
