The Best Connection is currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join a growing and successful company in Carlisle. This is a physically demanding role involving heavy lifting and multi-drop deliveries, making it ideal for drivers who enjoy being active and providing excellent customer service.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Start time: 5:00 AM
- Approximately 50 hours per week
- Finish times vary depending on workload and delivery route
The Role
As a Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:
- Home delivery work across a designated route
- Delivering bedroom furniture to customers' homes
- Completing approximately
- Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately
- Providing excellent customer service at each delivery point
- Working as part of a team to safely handle and deliver heavy items
4-5 deliveries per day
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Good communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work efficiently and professionally
- Be 25 years of age or over
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
