About the Role
A growing business within the waste and resource recovery sector is looking for a
Customer Service Specialist to join its customer contact team.
You will be a first point of contact for customers contacting the business by telephone, email and Live Chat. Your role will be to understand customer queries, provide accurate information, resolve issues and help customers make effective use of digital services.
Full contact centre training will be provided, so previous contact centre experience is not essential.
This role would suit someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems and working in a busy customer-focused environment.

Typically 8:30am to 5:00pm, 5 days per week
Some Saturday working required
Full contact centre training provided
Previous contact centre experience is not essential
Strong communication and customer service skills are essential
Key Responsibilities
Handle inbound customer contacts by telephone, email and Live Chat
Provide accurate information and support with service-related queries
Guide customers through digital tools, online services and processes
Manage customer complaints with empathy, ownership and professionalism
Maintain accurate customer account records
Record actions taken and keep customer information up to date
Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience
Share customer feedback with the wider team
Promote and educate customers on digital tools and self-service options
Work in line with relevant service and compliance requirements
Support the wider contact centre team in delivering a professional and consistent service

Full contact centre training will be provided.
