An
award-winning independent small animal practice in a thriving
coastal town in County Durham is looking for a
Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and supportive team.
This opportunity is ideal for a vet with
1+ year of small animal practice experience who wants to develop clinically within a practice that values
clinical freedom, mentorship and career progression.
The practice is led by a
Surgical Certificate holder who enjoys mentoring colleagues and supporting development in areas such as
laparoscopic surgery, internal medicine and further certificates.
The Role
Full-time – 40 hours across 4 days
8:30am – 6:30pm shifts with paid breaks
1 in 3 Saturday mornings (consults only) with time off in lieu
No OOH, no on-call, no bank holidays

Salary & Benefits
Up to £65,000 DOE
RCVS & VDS fees paid
£1,500 CPD allowance + 4 days CPD leave
