Summary

We are currently seeking a motivated MOT Tester to join a well-established automotive service centre located in North West London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to become part of a reputable company that values its employees and encourages career development. The successful MOT Tester will play a key role in maintaining vehicle safety and compliance, offering a steady work environment with career progression opportunities.

Benefits:

- Competitive basic salary of £34,000 per annum, with an OTE of up to £38,000

- Monday to Friday working pattern, 8am to 5pm

- One in four Saturdays (8.30am to 5pm), with a weekday off in lieu

- Flexibility to work additional Saturdays if desired

Duties of a MOT Tester:

- Conduct MOT inspections in line with industry regulations and standards

- Ensure vehicles satisfy safety and road-worthiness requirements through thorough testing

- Maintain precise records of inspections and repairs performed

- Clearly communicate findings to customers and provide technical advice

- Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times

- Support team efforts to deliver excellent customer service and vehicle care

Requirements of a MOT Tester:

- Valid MOT Tester certification

- Proven experience performing MOT tests to industry standards

- Sound knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle safety regulations

- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
