Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a well-established in-house automotive workshop located in Canning Town, London. This role presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced motor trade professional to advance their career within a reputable, friendly team dedicated to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Benefits for the successful Vehicle Technician:

- Competitive basic salary up to £41,000, depending on experience

- No weekend work; Monday to Friday hours from 8.00am to 5.30pm

- Optional Saturday overtime paid at time and a quarter

- Monthly bonus scheme of up to approximately £3,000 after six months

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

- Conduct routine vehicle servicing and repairs to high standards

- Diagnose faults accurately and efficiently

- Execute work on brakes, clutches, timing belts, suspension, turbos, and gearboxes

- Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and safety standards

- Complete vehicle reports and relevant documentation accurately

- Maintain a clean and safe working environment adhering to health and safety regulations

- Provide excellent technical advice and customer service

Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:

- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role within the motor trade

- Relevant technical qualifications

- Strong diagnostic skills with attention to detail

- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team

- Knowledge of vehicle systems and safety standards
