Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

- Perform vehicle maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics to the highest standards

- Utilise your technical expertise to identify faults and resolve issues efficiently

- Work on electrical and mechanical systems, including testing and fault diagnosis

- Replace and repair components as required to ensure vehicle safety and performance

- Conduct vehicle inspections and advise on further work

- Support colleagues within the workshop to achieve team targets

- Maintain detailed records of work completed

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or an equivalent qualification

- Full UK driving licence is essential

- Experience working with electrical and mechanical systems

- Proficiency in using modern diagnostic equipment

- Knowledge of vehicle systems and fault finding techniques

- Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and customers

- MOT licence is advantageous but not essential

- Commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship
