Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

Outwood Academy Ormesby is seeking applications from committed individuals to work as a Breakfast Club Supervisor within the Academy. As a Breakfast Club Supervisor you will ensure the security, safety, well-being andcare of the children is maintained during the early morning period before school.

The hours of this position are Monday to Friday, 1hr 45 minutes per day (7:15am - 9:00am), term time only.

You will greet children on arrival, supervise play activities, and ensure the children's health and safety throughout the Breakfast Club. Core duties involve preparing food while strictly adhering to Food Hygiene and Risk Assessment guidelines. You will manage incidents in line with agreed policy strategies, encouraging pupils to take responsibility for their own behaviour.

Candidates must demonstrate excellent time management, organisation skills, and the capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. It is essential to have the ability to relate to students in a pleasant and sympathetic manner and to recognise potential child safeguarding issues. We require the physical ability to participate in play and active-based learning.

Experience working in a school environment or knowledge of healthy eating is desirable. A satisfactory DBS check is mandatory, alongside a willingness to pursue necessary training and qualifications.
