This days-based role offers competitive hourly pay and weekly payment every Wednesday.About the companyThe company is an established timber pallet and packaging solutions business serving industrial and manufacturing markets. Its operations include the manufacture, reconditioning, recovery and reuse of pallet products, with a focus on practical, sustainable supply solutions across a UK-wide network.Key responsibilities• Safely operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle in line with legal and company requirements• Complete local and regional deliveries and collections as required• Carry out vehicle checks before and after each shift• Ensure loads are secured correctly and transported safely• Complete delivery paperwork and digital records accurately• Maintain professional communication with site teams and customers• Follow all relevant transport, health and safety proceduresSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 1 licence, Category C+E• Current Driver CPC qualification• Digital tachograph card• Previous commercial driving experience• Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and road transport regulations• A reliable, safety-conscious and professional approach• Good communication and time-management skills• Flexibility to work days and complete delivery schedulesBenefits• £17.50–£18.00 per hour• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employers• Temporary days-based work in the Stockton-on-Tees areaApply today.
