Summary
This is a great opportunity for x3 experienced Recovery Coordinators, Recovery Workers, Group work Facilitators with strong substance misuse experience to join a busy service and support people throughout their recovery journey.
Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week)Dates: ASAP 3 months (Temporary Contract, will be reviewed after 3 months and potentially extended)Location: we have 3 positions in the following locations: Nuneaton, Rugby and Leamington Spa.Pay Rate: £18/hr PAYE or £23 umbrella
Your new role
As a Recovery Coordinator, you will deliver a range of evidence‑based interventions to support service users throughout their treatment journey. You will work collaboratively with clinical and safeguarding teams to ensure each individual receives a safe, holistic and person‑centred service.
Key responsibilities:Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and throughout their treatment and recovery journeyResearch, design and prepare subject matter and materials for groups/pods.Tailor specific workshops around the needs of the SUs, such as: anger management, sleep disorders, relationships, etc.Engage with debriefing and evaluations with co-facilitator/s after groups/pods have taken place.Completing screening, assessments, recovery planning and onward referralsHelping to reduce drug and alcohol-related harm for service users and the wider communitySupporting service users with social reintegration, recovery, resilience and self-determinationPromoting involvement from service users, carers and the wider communityWorking in partnership with internal teams, external agencies and other professionalsProviding advocacy and supporting access to partnership services where requiredDelivering person-centred support in a safe, respectful and professional manner
To be considered, you will need:Previous experience working in substance misuse services is a must.Experience of working with groups and managing group dynamics, such as conflict or challenging behaviour.Experience of Motivational Interviewing and Psycho Social Interventions.A good understanding of recovery planning, risk, safeguarding and harm reductionStrong communication and engagement skillsConfidence working with service users with complex needsThe ability to work collaboratively with professionals, services and external partnersGood organisational skills and the ability to manage your caseload effectivelyA compassionate, non-judgemental and person-centred approach
