Monday to Friday

Full-time perm position

Location: BD19

Hours: 9:00am- 5:30pm

Onsite role with future hybrid flexibility

Salary between: £25,000 - £35,000 DOE

The Role

Working closely with designers and the wider development team, you'll be responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing web applications while ensuring a seamless user experience across desktop and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel

Build responsive, user-friendly websites and web-based solutions

Write clean, efficient and maintainable code using HTML, CSS and JavaScript

Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to deliver new features and functionality

Troubleshoot, debug and resolve technical issues

Ensure websites perform consistently across browsers and devices

Support ongoing improvements to existing applications

Participate in code reviews and development best practices

Assist with WordPress development and content-driven websites

Work collaboratively to deliver projects on time and to a high standard

Contribute ideas to improve user experience, functionality and performance

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

Commercial experience working with Laravel

Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript

Experience working with WordPress

Familiarity with Git version control

Understanding of relational databases such as MySQL

Experience developing responsive and mobile-friendly websites

Strong attention to detail and code quality

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

Basic image editing skills using Photoshop or similar software

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
