Summary

Clinical. 1. To provide a client centred nutrition & dietetic service to children and their carers at various locations according to need. 2. To participate in the team approach to the care of individuals referred to the service and attend specialist paediatric multidisciplinary clinics as appropriate. 3. 4. 5. To attend multidisciplinary team meetings across the health community as required. To liaise with the wider multi-disciplinary teams within the trust and the health community to ensure the dietetic needs of clients can be met. To provide clinical knowledge and expertise to the wider multidisciplinary teams based on a sound knowledge of evidence-based practice. 6. To accurately collect relevant activity data required for service monitoring, management, and evaluation. 7. To develop evidence based dietary information in conjunction with other members of the dietetic team. 8. To provide cover for dietetic colleagues as appropriate. 9. To work with other members of the dietetic and catering teams to develop menus to meet the needs of inpatients.
