More detail about the role Durbin Ward is looking for a Band 5 Registered Nurse for 12 months to cover maternity leave. This post would be suitable for a Band 5 looking for development as a newly qualified nurse. Durbin Ward is a well-staffed, well-managed ward with a proven record for providing patients with high quality, safe, effective care. Durbin is a 35 bedded Adult Orthopaedic Trauma Unit accepting admissions 24 hours a day. Essentially we care for patients who have undergone orthopaedic surgery following either traumatic injuries or planned orthopaedic surgery. Sometimes, when organisational needs dictate, we care for other patient groups and our skill set and team is well trained to do this. We are a friendly, experienced team where we place a high emphasis on supporting each other, team work and ensuring a harmonious work/life balance.
