Summary

Are you a newly qualified midwife looking to kickstart your career? Do you want to relocate to beautiful North Yorkshire? (relocation expenses available)

We have exciting opportunities for newly qualified Band 5 midwives to join our dedicated maternity team, delivering high-quality care to women and families across hospital and community settings in York and Scarborough. We are proud that both maternity services are rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) across all five areas: safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.

Our comprehensive 18-month Preceptorship Programme is designed to help newly qualified midwives build confidence, develop their clinical practice and feel fully supported as they begin their careers. Preceptees will receive a dedicated time-out day each month, providing protected space away from clinical duties to come together with their peers, reflect and debrief in a supportive environment, practise essential clinical skills and take part in focused learning and professional development. For further information about the Preceptorship Programme, please contact the Preceptorship Lead Midwife.

Midwives will work as part of a well-trained and well-led multi-disciplinary team to deliver high standards of evidence-based care to ensure safe outcomes and a positive experience for all women and their families, in line with local and national standards.

INTERVIEWS WILL TAKE PLACE FACE TO FACE, NO REMOTE INTERVIEW REQUESTS CAN BE ACCOMMODATED.
