We are currently recruiting for an
Experienced Bus Driver to join a well-established bus operator serving the
Maidstone, Medway, Tonbridge, and Weald areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers with previous experience on
rural routes, who are confident navigating
tight and narrow country roads. We are specifically looking for drivers with a background in rural bus operations rather than solely city-based bus services.
Pay Rates
Monday to Friday: £14.50 per hour
Saturday: £15.00 per hour
Sunday: £15.50 per hour
The Role
- Operating scheduled bus services across Maidstone, Medway, Tonbridge, and The Weald.
- Driving a variety of local service routes.
- Providing excellent customer service to passengers.
- Completing daily vehicle safety checks.
- Maintaining high standards of road safety and professionalism.
Hours & Shift Pattern
- Start times between
- Working
- Weekend work required as part of the rota
- Ongoing opportunity with the potential for a
06:00 and 07:00
12-hour shifts
5 to 6 days out of 7
11 days worked out of every 14-day period

Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
- A valid

- Strong awareness of road safety and passenger care
- The ability to work weekends as required
Category D (Bus) Licence
Driver CPC Qualification Card
6 months' bus driving experience
rural routes and narrow roads
6 penalty points

- Looking for long-term, stable employment
