What you'll be doing:
* Prepare papers and files for court, tribunals, hearings and meetings, keeping information up to date
* Produce and draft standard documents and correspondence (including minutes, notes and reports) in line with guidelines
* Maintain accurate records and data input on an in-house system, including post opening and dispatch
* Support daily operations by clerking hearings and ensuring materials are available and correct
* Assist court users with enquiries (face to face, written and telephone), helping people navigate processes
* Contact relevant parties, schedule and organise as required, and support listing/rota arrangements
* Check and verify documents, records and information for quality, accuracy and compliance
* Assemble information for reporting and meetings, where source material may need interpretation and adjustment
* Carry out basic calculations and straightforward reporting (including statistics and reconciliation activities)
* Contribute to team problem-solving and help assess the impact of process changes

* Confidence working with procedures and guidelines, escalating complex issues appropriately
* Accurate, methodical approach to checking and verifying information and meeting workload targets
* Competent computer skills for record keeping and data input
* A flexible mindset-supporting ad hoc needs across local offices when required
* A "right first time" attitude with a willingness to contribute to continuous improvement
