Summary

We are seeking a dedicated spray painter/powder Coater to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying powder coating/ wet paint systems to various metal components, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a background in fabrication or warehouse environments. Prior experience with painting and prep work.

Duties

Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or masking prior to coating

Operate powder coating/ wet spray equipment safely and efficiently

Apply powder coating/ wet spray evenly using spray guns and other hand tools

Inspect finished products for quality, colour consistency, and surface defects

Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment to ensure optimal operation

Assist with Hanging/packing other tasks as required

Follow health and safety procedures at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Perform basic maintenance on tools and machinery used in the coating process

Qualifications

Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools

FLT licence desirable

Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during preparation and application processes

Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Good organisational skills and attention to detail

Willingness to learn new techniques and adhere to safety protocols
