As a Registered Nurse, you will work as part of our specialist In-Patient Unit team to provide outstanding palliative and end of life care. Your responsibilities will include: Assessing patients' physical, emotional, spiritual and social needs, developing individualised plans of care alongside patients and their families Delivering and evaluating high-quality nursing care using evidence-based practice Working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care from admission through to discharge Supporting patients and families through complex symptom management and end of life care planning Providing professional advice and support through hospice services when required Taking charge of the clinical environment when appropriate and supporting colleagues across the nursing team Contributing to clinical audit, quality improvement, education and service development activities Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring care is delivered in line with professional standards and hospice policies See our full detailed Job Description on our website for more information.
