Summary

CNC Miller – Programmer / Setter / Operator

Location: Esher, Surrey

Salary: £20–£24 per hour, depending on experience

Hours: 39 hours per week

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We are recruiting for an established and growing precision engineering business supplying components into demanding industries including Aerospace, Defence, Medical and Oil & Gas.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced CNC Miller / Programmer Setter Operator to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Role

•

Programme, set and operate CNC milling machines.

•

Work from engineering drawings and technical specifications.

•

Produce high-precision components to tight tolerances.

•

Set tooling, work-holding and offsets.

•

Carry out first-off and in-process inspection.

•

Troubleshoot machining and make necessary programme/offset adjustments.

•

Experience with 3- and 4-axis milling is essential.

•

5-axis experience would be highly advantageous.

Requirements

•

Proven CNC milling experience.

•

Strong programming, setting and operating experience.

•

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

•

Good knowledge of tooling, cutting conditions and machining processes.

•

Experience working to tight tolerances.

•

Aerospace/Defence experience would be advantageous.

•

CNC/CAM programming experience would be beneficial.

•

Must have the right to work in the UK.
