Summary
Masstemps are currently recruiting for a reliable, organised and enthusiastic Business Administrator to join our manufacturing client in the Kidderminster area.
This is a varied administrative role suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, communicating with customers and colleagues, and keeping day-to-day business operations running smoothly.
The successful candidate will receive full training on our clients in-house systems and processes, with the opportunity to develop their skills and take on additional responsibilities as they become more experienced.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out general office and administrative duties to support the day-to-day running of the business.
• Communicate professionally with customers by telephone, email and other appropriate channels.
• Manage customer leasing enquiries and maintain accurate records.
• Track and monitor containers, ensuring movements and relevant information are kept up to date.
• Prepare, process and maintain import and export documentation.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and direct enquiries to the appropriate member of the team.
• Manage diaries, appointments and meetings where required.
• Maintain accurate filing and administrative records.
• Learn and confidently use the company's in-house systems and software.
• Assist with general office housekeeping and ensure the working environment is kept organised and presentable.
• Provide general administrative support to colleagues and management as required.
• Follow company procedures and ensure documentation is completed accurately and on time.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
• Highly organised with good attention to detail.
• Confident communicating with customers and colleagues.
• Comfortable using computers and willing to learn new systems.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Professional and friendly with a positive attitude.
• Previous administration or customer service experience is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Experience with import/export documentation, logistics, leasing or container tracking would be advantageous but is not essential.

Hours of work:
Monday - Thursday 9-5pm
Friday 8am-2:30pm
Rate of pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
