Summary

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership based in Trowbridge, seeking a Vehicle Service Advisor to join their team. - Basic salary up to £28,588 per annum, increasing after probation completion

- Performance-related bonus, with on-target earnings of £32,000 to £33,000 annually

- 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, on a split shift rota (8:00am-5:00pm or 8:30am-5:30pm)

Duties of a Service Advisor:

- Greet customers within the Service Department, providing a professional and courteous experience

- Liaise extensively with the workshop team to monitor work in progress and ensure timely updates to customers

- Manage customer appointments and service deadlines efficiently

- Up-sell additional products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue

- Coordinate with the manufacturer to authorise warranty repairs and follow warranty procedures

- Ensure high levels of customer service are maintained at all times

- Work collaboratively with colleagues, supporting workload management and ensuring operational efficiency

Requirements of a Service Advisor:

- Previous experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor is advantageous but not essential

- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Strong organisational skills and IT literacy

- A UK driving licence with minimal points

- Ability to deliver a high standard of customer satisfaction

- Knowledge of warranty procedures and liaising with manufacturers is beneficial, but not mandatory
