Summary

We are representing a reputable automotive dealership in Birmingham, seeking a Vehicle Technician to join their team. Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

- Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring repairs meet manufacturer standards

- Conducting video vehicle health checks to assess vehicle condition and identify additional work or upselling opportunities

- Performing routine maintenance and inspections to uphold dealership quality standards

- Collaborating closely with workshop management to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication

- Staying updated with the latest diagnostic techniques and technological advancements through regular training sessions

- Supporting colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and vehicle care

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

- Level 3 NVQ, City and Guilds, or equivalent qualification in vehicle maintenance or diagnostics

- Proven experience in a vehicle technician role, ideally within a dealership environment

- Strong diagnostic and repair skills with a focus on quality and efficiency

- A proactive attitude toward learning and professional development

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

- Flexibility to work weekends as required
