Forklift Driver Counterbalance / Mixing OperativeWe are seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy industrial operation in Leicester. This is a temporary to permanent, daytime position offering a competitive hourly rate and regular weekly pay.About the companyBased in Leicester, the company supplies cleaning solutions, process products and basic chemicals to customers across the UK and internationally. It forms part of a wider chemicals distribution and services group, with responsible product management, technical expertise and health and safety central to its operations.The roleAs a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, your responsibilities will include:• Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently• Loading and unloading vehicles• Moving, storing and organising materials within the site• Supporting warehouse and production teams with internal stock movements• Checking goods and reporting any damage or discrepancies• Following site safety procedures and handling instructions• Keeping work areas tidy and maintaining accurate movement records• A current counterbalance forklift qualification• Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse, industrial or manufacturing environment• Good awareness of workplace health and safety• The ability to follow instructions and work carefully around materials and vehicles• Good communication skills and a reliable approach to attendance• The ability to work independently and as part of a teamIf you are a dependable Counterbalance Forklift Driver looking for a permanent daytime opportunity in Leicester, apply today.
