The Role
Are you passionate about improving outcomes for children and families? Do you want to help ensure that every family can access the right support at the right time?
Tameside Family Hubs are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Family Hub Worker to join our growing team. This exciting role will focus on engaging families who may be less likely to access support, helping to reduce inequalities and connecting families with services that will improve outcomes for children.
As a Family Hub Worker, you will work within communities, build trusted relationships with families and partner agencies, and support the delivery of the Best Start Family Hubs and Healthy Babies Programme. You will help identify need early, promote access to Family Hub services, and ensure families receive coordinated support that meets their individual circumstances.
About You
The successful candidate will:
Have experience of working with children, parents and families.
Be skilled in engaging vulnerable and disadvantaged families.
Have excellent communication and partnership-working skills.
Be committed to improving outcomes for children and reducing inequalities.
Be able to work flexibly across community settings and Family Hub locations.
