We are recruiting on behalf of a
leading independent board and paper merchant for an experienced
Class 2 Driver to join their growing team on a
temp-to-perm basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for long-term employment with a well-established company offering competitive pay and excellent earning potential.
The Role
- Monday to Friday working week
- Start times vary between
- Driving a
- Delivering board and paper products to commercial customers
- The majority of deliveries are
- Occasional tail lift deliveries requiring use of a
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
- Completing all vehicle checks and delivery paperwork accurately
4:00am and 7:00am
Class 2 curtainsider vehicle fitted with a tail lift
FLT loaded and unloaded
pump truck
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred
- Comfortable with occasional manual handling and pump truck use
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach
Pay & Benefits
Temporary Period
- £15.00 per hour
Permanent Employment
- £15.57 per hour
- Time and a half paid after 8 hours worked per day
- Monday to Friday work with no regular weekend requirement
