Role Overview for Regional Operations Manager:
You will The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for leading and delivering operational excellence across Chevron Traffic Management in the Southeast.
Reporting directly to the Regional Director, Low Speed, the role provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of traffic management services across the region. The Regional Operations Manager is accountable for driving operational performance, implementing company policies and procedures, and ensuring that business objectives are achieved through effective planning, resource management, and team leadership.
The Regional Operations Manager will lead and develop high-performing teams, providing clear direction and support to ensure colleagues have the capability, engagement, and resources required to deliver exceptional results. They will be responsible for ensuring business performance continues to move in a positive direction across all operational, customer, compliance, and people-related measures.
Key Responsibilities of a Regional Operations Manager:

Leadership-Direct and supervise staff activities through effective leadership, direction, and motivation.

Policy & Procedure -Ensure appropriate company policies and procedures are in place and embedded within the company.

Budget Management -Define budget requirements and manage costs.

KPI Management -Manage operational and financial KPIs for depots.

Decision Making -Make key decisions to drive business success.

Monitor and improve operational performance through effective planning, resource allocation and performance management.

Lead, coach, and develop managers and operational teams to build capability and succession strength.

Ensure contractual obligations, service levels, and key performance indicators are consistently achieved.

Reporting -Ensure accurate monthly reports on business and employer performance, highlighting opportunities, trends, and successes.

Efficiency Improvements -Develop and implement ideas and creative solutions to improve efficiencies.

Operational Support -Support operations to achieve delivery and customer service on all works delivered through strategic contracts.

Customer Service -Support excellent customer service on all works delivered by the depot to maximize opportunities for repeat business and increased client penetration.

Business Development -Proactively seek out new opportunities for the business while building relationships with new and existing customers.

What we are looking for a Regional Operations Manager

Traffic Management operational experience

Knowledge: Familiarity with Chapter 8 regulations.

Driving Licence: Full licence with no more than 6 points. Any driving bans must have expired at least 5 years ago.

Testing: Must pass a drug and alcohol test (offer contingent on results).

Attitude: Positive, “can-do” mindset.

Skills: Adaptability, flexibility, and meticulous attention to detail.
Traffic Management Training is subject to signing a training agreement.
