If you enjoy bringing structure, energy and calm to busy multi-location delivery, this is a great opportunity to support the end-to-end running of judicial training events across multiple jurisdictions. Our Client is hiring Temporary Workers to help ensure every event is well planned, smoothly delivered and continuously improved-backed by data, strong stakeholder relationships and a customer-focused approach.
What you'll be doing:
* Plan, allocate and lead the end-to-end delivery of a range of judicial training events within the Judicial College Training Programme
* Organise events by following established procedures and policies-while using initiative to proactively solve issues as they arise
* Manage your own time autonomously, delivering multiple events at different stages of development with minimal supervision
* Work collaboratively and flexibly across teams and jurisdictions to support programme delivery
* Build and maintain excellent relationships with judicial training leads and specialist College teams throughout each event's lifecycle
* Negotiate and influence other teams-often at senior level-to support successful delivery
* Use databases and information sources (including Judicial College Learning) to plan effectively and ensure accurate collation and analysis of data (e.g., audience lists, attendance and fees)
* Collate feedback from events and teams, identify service improvements, and help implement changes
* Support quality assurance and ensure accuracy and timeliness across your own work and relevant team activity (including judicial teams)
* Liaise with internal and external venue providers to secure cost-effective, high-quality venues and ensure they're set up correctly
* Proactively manage venue issues and complaints, raising concerns with venue providers when needed
* Organise catering and other event support through external companies as required
* Make proactive, evidence-based decisions on event capacity and recommend changes, including potential cancellations when necessary
* Provide direct support to judicial delegates-resolving queries and issues
* Receive, negotiate and resolve reasonable adjustments requests from delegates
* Support delivery of face-to-face and online events, with the possibility of overnight stays
* Ensure appropriate use of IT/AV equipment at events
* Complete finance and fees tasks accurately and on time
What you'll bring:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to connect with a wide range of stakeholders (including at more senior levels)
* Confidence handling difficult conversations without supervision
* Strong emotional intelligence to negotiate with, work alongside and influence internal and external stakeholders
* Ability to manage complex prioritisation while organising multiple events at the same time
* Excellent customer service instincts and a professional, solutions-focused mindset
* Comfort navigating and managing online systems
* Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
* Flexibility and resilience to deal with organisational and event issues calmly and effectively
