Summary

We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Construction team based in Chiswell Street, London.

Location: Chiswell Street, London (with site visits as required)Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Construction team, where you'll take responsibility for the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account. You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably, and in line with contractual obligations while supporting the wider commercial and operational teams. Working with a collaborative and supportive environment, you'll help drive commercial success whilst building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Construction team, supporting them in delivering construction projects successfully. Your day to day will include:

-Managing the commercial and contractual aspects of construction projects from inception to completion

-Monitoring, forecasting, and reporting project costs and values whilst maximising project profitability

-Procuring and commercially managing subcontractor packages, including assessment and certification of payments

-Preparing monthly applications for payment and agreeing final accounts

-Building and maintaining strong client, consultant, and stakeholder relationships whilst mentoring junior team members

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

-You have demonstrable experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor or similar commercial role within the construction industry

-You have experience on NEC contracts with Target Costs

-You possess excellent negotiation, financial management, and stakeholder engagement skills

-You hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent

-You hold a Full driving licence

We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our regional Construction team based in London.

Location: Gerrard's Cross

Contract: Full Time, Permanent - flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Commercial team, initially on a multi million pound project in London.

Your day to day will include:

-Provide commercial input including financial and contractual performance forecasts to the management team. Help ensure that business targets and KPI's are exceeded

-Preparation of monthly cost / value reports for area, together with review of results and consideration of trends with other contract team members

-Production of commercial reports together with review of results and consideration of trends with other contract team members

-Physical measurement of works and agreement of same with client and subcontractors

-Agreement of certification and payment of subcontractor accounts - monitoring of such accounts against forecasts

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

-Holder of a Full Drivers Licence

-Educated to Degree level, or equivalent experience

-Experience within a similar role

-Confident IT skills, proficient in the use of MS Office in particular Excel
