Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop traffic management and highway improvement schemes.
Prepare traffic regulation orders (TROs), traffic calming measures, parking schemes, and junction improvements.
Analyse traffic, accident, parking, and transport data to identify issues and recommend solutions.
Undertake site visits, surveys, feasibility studies, and technical assessments.
Produce technical reports, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
Respond to enquiries from residents, councillors, developers, and stakeholders.
Support the delivery of road safety initiatives and sustainable transport projects.
Manage external consultants and contractors where required.
Ensure schemes comply with current legislation, regulations, design standards, and health and safety requirements.
Attend public consultations, meetings, and stakeholder engagement events.
