The Legal Entity, Securitisation, Control & Reporting team are a trusted, value adding partner to the business, supporting with month end financial control, balance sheet substantiation and statutory reporting. Role Responsibilities

This role is in Retail Securitisation within the Legal Entity, Securitisation, Control & Reporting team. You will report into the Securitisation manager and responsibilities will include:

  • Support the accurate and timely financial control and reporting of assigned Retail Securitisation entities.

  • Prepare and review statutory financial statements, supporting working papers and directors' reporting materials.

  • Coordinate audit deliverables, respond to auditor queries and support accounts through to clearance, signing and filing.

  • Complete month-end controls, including balance sheet reconciliations, ARCS profiles, journals and movement analysis.

  • Investigate breaks, unusual movements and data inconsistencies, ensuring issues are resolved or escalated promptly.

  • Prepare and validate securitisation data for Product Control, GDRS enrichment and other Group reporting requirements.

  • Maintain strong control evidence and support compliance with Group Minimum Standards, SAO and governance requirements.

  • Build effective relationships with Retail Finance, Treasury, External Reporting, Group Tax, auditors and other key stakeholders.

  • Manage competing reporting and audit deadlines, providing clear updates on progress, risks and dependencies.

  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate processes while supporting knowledge sharing and team resilience.

What you'll need

  • You'll be a dedicated finance professional with an accounting qualification, and ideally with financial services sector or statutory reporting experience.

  • Highly organised with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical skills and the passion to contribute to the success of the function are something we'd genuinely want to see in any applicant.

  • A desire to improve existing processes, systems, and procedures through continuously challenging what we do and how we do it.

  • You'll need to be delivery driven and show a passion for producing quality work at pace.

  • You'll work in a highly collaborative way to ensure the correct reporting and assist in the analysis and explanation behind the numbers.

Desirable skills:

  • A self starter, who is organised and has good attention to detail.

  • Experience of Microsoft 365 suite, specifically Excel.

  • Experience of using Finance Systems and software would be an advantage, or a proven ability to learn new systems in a short timescale, such as Power Apps, Phyton, AI.
