Summary
Are you looking for an exciting and varied opportunity in Medical Education? This post is an ideal opportunity for a doctor wishing to develop educational insight and capability. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your clinical teaching and group facilitation skills. Working part-time (2-4 days a week) at The University of Buckingham Medical School, you will facilitate small groupteaching of first and second year medical students. This will support high quality education of undergraduate medical students and is both rewarding and enjoyable. This fixed-term post is suitable for doctors who have completed the UK Foundation Programme and who wish to build on their personal teaching experience and develop expertise in medical education. The part-time nature leaves time to continue with clinical work for the rest of the week. Working 8.30am to 5.30pm, it gives an opportunity to study for exams and develop interests outside of medicine. The role is also extremely beneficial to your CV and can contribute to points on specialty training applications. The closing date of the advert is 3rd October 2026 but the advert will close early if the available positions are filled. We are looking for applicants to start end September-mid October. Interviews will take place in September. The post will be from the agreed start date until August 2027
