Children's Residential Support Worker – Outdoor & Activity Centres

We're looking for enthusiastic, resilient, and caring Children's Residential Support Workers to join our team in outdoor residential and activity centre settings, supporting children and young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours.

No two days are the same! From woodland walks and campfires to climbing walls, team-building challenges, and outdoor adventures, you'll be helping young people develop confidence, resilience, and life skills while creating unforgettable experiences.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Supporting children and young people in outdoor residential settings

- Encouraging participation in adventure and activity-based programmes

- Building trusting relationships and being a positive role model

- Supporting daily routines, wellbeing, and personal development

- Managing challenging behaviours with patience, understanding, and professionalism

- Working alongside a dedicated team to provide a safe, fun, and nurturing environment

What We're Looking For:

- A minimum of 6 months' UK experience working in Children's Residential Care

- Experience supporting children with EBD and challenging behaviours

- A positive, energetic, and resilient attitude

- A passion for the outdoors and encouraging young people to try new experiences

- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)

Requirements:

- Enhanced DBS check required (Portable DBS certificates are welcomed)

- Right to work in the UK

- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins where required
