We’re looking for a Farming in Protected Landscapes (FiPL) Administration Officer to join our team. This is a part-time role (30 hours per week), fixed term until 30 March 2029, based at our Grassington office near Skipton, with some blended home and office working.

We are delivering the highly successful Defra-funded Farming in Protected Landscapes (FiPL) programme, which supports farmers and land managers to deliver projects that benefit climate, nature, people, and place.

The Role
You’ll ensure the smooth administration of the FiPL programme including financial and data management, expenditure monitoring, reporting and varied grant work.
Responsibilities include:
• Overseeing relevant protocols and processes to enable monitoring and compliance of projects
• Communicating with applicants and agreement holders
• Technical support including arranging meetings; training, events, taking minutes, maintaining filing systems and assembling reports.
• Aiding project and programme level evaluation, including reporting to DEFRA
