Kidderminster College is looking for a Skills and Progression Engagement Officer to join our ambitious team-someone who can engage learners, connect with employers and champions progression into work, apprenticeships and further learning.
This is a dynamic, outward-facing role at the heart of our employability and adult skills provision.
You'll play a key part in attracting learners, building partnerships and ensuring high-quality programme delivery, working closely with local employers, partners and internal teams to create opportunities that reflect the needs of our community.
This is more than coordination-it's about engagement, influence and impact.
What You'll Do:
- Drive learner recruitment and engagement
- Build strong employer and partner relationships
- Coordinate high-quality programmes
- Deliver employability support
- Track success and progression
- Maintain quality and compliance
Promote programmes, generate interest and support enrolment activity across the local area
Act as a key contact for employers, training providers and local stakeholders to create meaningful progression routes
Ensure smooth delivery, excellent learner experience and strong outcomes
Help learners develop confidence and readiness through CV workshops, interview preparation and job-search skills
Monitor outcomes and support learners into employment, further study or apprenticeships
Ensure accurate data, funding compliance and a strong audit trail

You may have experience in supporting employment preparation, supporting or developing skills or a customer facing environment - or simply an ambition to work in a role that supports young people and adults gain confidence, skills and progress into their positive next steps.
