Summary

Nursery Practitioner – Level 3

Up to £29,000 per year | 40 Hours per Week | All Year Round

Thoughtfully designed with the needs of young children in mind, the nursery offers bright, spacious and age-specific rooms, creating environments that support children as they move through each stage of their Early Years development. Each space has been carefully planned to give children the freedom to explore, make choices and develop their confidence through play.

 

The nursery also benefits from a dedicated outdoor garden area, extending children's learning beyond the classroom and providing plenty of opportunities for fresh-air play, physical development, exploration and discovery.

 

As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you'll become part of a growing team helping to establish the nursery's culture and create a warm, welcoming environment from day one.

 

What You'll Bring

  • Full and relevant

    Level 3 Early Years qualification.

  • Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.

  • Good knowledge and understanding of the

    EYFS framework.

  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.

  • Confidence supporting children across different ages and stages of development.

  • Ability to plan engaging experiences around children's individual interests and needs.

  • A warm, responsive and nurturing approach to Early Years care.

  • Strong communication skills when working with children, families and colleagues.

Your Role

  • Provide warm, responsive and high-quality care for children throughout the nursery.

  • Support children across different age groups depending on the needs of the setting.

  • Plan and deliver meaningful experiences based on children's interests and developmental stages.

  • Create opportunities for children to explore, play and develop their confidence and independence.

  • Observe children's development and use this to support appropriate next steps.

  • Support children's individual routines, personal care and emotional wellbeing.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to establish a positive and supportive nursery culture.

  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and EYFS practice.
