Summary
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Engineer to join a growing and ambitious consultancy, working on a diverse range of exciting commercial and residential projects.

The Role
As a Fire Engineer, you will be involved in developing and delivering Fire Strategies across a varied portfolio of projects, ranging from residential developments to complex commercial premises.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Developing fire strategies for a range of commercial and residential buildings.
• Providing fire engineering advice throughout the design and construction process.
• Working closely with architects, designers, contractors and other engineering disciplines.
• Reviewing designs and providing practical, technically sound fire safety solutions.
• Producing technical reports, fire strategies and supporting documentation.
• Attending project meetings and liaising with clients and key stakeholders.
• Supporting the delivery of projects from initial concept through to completion.
• Keeping up to date with relevant legislation, guidance and industry best practice.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Fire Engineer with proven experience within a consultancy or similar technical environment.
You will ideally have:
• Previous professional experience as a Fire Engineer — essential.
• Experience developing fire strategies for commercial and/or residential buildings.
• Strong knowledge of relevant fire safety legislation, regulations and guidance.
• Excellent technical report writing and communication skills.
• The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a wider team.
• A proactive approach and genuine ambition to develop your career.
• Relevant engineering or fire safety qualifications.
Chartered status or progression towards Chartered Engineer/Chartered Membership would be advantageous, although full support will be provided for the right candidate looking to achieve chartership.
