NW Recruitment Services Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Bendi FLT Driver to join a busy operation based in Leyland, Lancashire.
This is a site-based position, with the successful candidate responsible for the safe and efficient movement of stock and materials around the warehouse and yard using a Bendi FLT.
Working as part of a busy team, you will be involved in the movement, loading and unloading of goods, ensuring materials are positioned correctly and safely throughout the operation.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bendi FLT Driver looking for consistent Monday-to-Friday hours, a set 6:00am–2:00pm shift and ongoing work.
Key responsibilities:
• Safely operate a Bendi FLT within the warehouse and yard environment.
• Load and unload vehicles as required.
• Move stock, materials and finished products safely and efficiently around the site.
• Transport goods between designated warehouse, storage and loading areas.
• Safely manoeuvre the Bendi FLT in confined and busy working environments.
• Ensure goods are correctly positioned and handled to prevent damage.
• Carry out daily FLT checks and report any defects or maintenance issues.
• Follow all company health & safety procedures and safe operating practices.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Assist with general warehouse and loading duties when required.
• Work effectively as part of a wider warehouse and logistics team.
• Maintain excellent standards of reliability, punctuality and attendance throughout the assignment.
The successful applicant will have:
• Previous experience operating a Bendi FLT.
• A valid and in-date Bendi FLT qualification/certificate is desirable.
• Previous experience working within a warehouse, distribution or logistics environment.
• Experience loading and unloading vehicles is advantageous.
• Good awareness of workplace health & safety requirements.
• The ability to safely manoeuvre a Bendi FLT within confined and busy areas.
• A reliable and professional approach to work.
• Excellent timekeeping and attendance.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A flexible attitude towards supporting general warehouse operations when required.
