The Role

We’re looking for an organised, proactive and detail-focused

Planning Administrator to join our friendly and supportive team at Anglian.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing, submitting and managing accurate regulatory applications for our Living Space and Window and Door product ranges. You’ll work closely with regulatory bodies across England, Wales and Scotland, as well as customers and colleagues from across the business.

You’ll be joining a welcoming and experienced team, led by a fantastic and approachable Department Manager who is committed to supporting colleagues and helping everyone succeed. Our friendly, open-plan office provides a welcoming environment where colleagues work together, share knowledge and support one another.

This is a fully office-based position, working Monday to Friday, five days a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate applications for regulatory approval.

• Manage your individual pipeline of applications from initial submission through to completion.

• Provide a professional, helpful and friendly service throughout the application process.

• Keep customers regularly updated at key stages and advise them of any changes or additional information required.

• Work collaboratively with Local Authorities, customers, Sales teams and Technical teams to obtain the necessary approvals.

• Process amendments and provide administrative support to help achieve the required consents.

• Maintain accurate records and ensure applications are progressed efficiently and within the relevant timescales.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

• Communicates clearly, professionally and confidently.

• Takes pride in providing excellent customer service.

• Can manage an individual workload and pipeline while contributing positively to a wider team.

• Is comfortable working with different departments, customers and external regulatory bodies.

• Can prioritise tasks effectively in a busy office environment.

• Has experience of managing applications or working with regulatory bodies, although full training and support will be provided.

• Is confident using Microsoft Office applications.
