Summary

Are you an experienced compliance professional looking for a pivotal role where you can truly make a difference? Valleys to Coast is seeking a Landlord Compliance & Building Safety Manager to join our Compliance & FM team in Bridgend, South Wales. Reporting directly to the Head of Service of Compliance, Facilities and Estates, you will lead a high-performing compliance team to oversee all landlord compliance and building safety, ensuring strict adherence to crucial housing regulations like the Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016, Gas Safety Regulations, and electrical wiring standards. Managing crucial safety programs (domestic/communal gas, electrical testing, asbestos, and water safety) and driving key performance relationships with our subsidiary, Llanw, you will play a crucial part in delivering excellent, compliant, and wholehearted safety outcomes for our customers and communities.

To be successful, you will need a detailed understanding of building safety environment management (preferably with at least two years in social housing) and evidence appropriate technical training and qualifications in disciplines such as electrical, gas, or asbestos safety. The ideal candidate is an uncompromising data champion with excellent analytical skills, who is highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing budgets and conflicting priorities to meet tight deadlines.
