Permanent Position 0.4 FTE

The Link School is recognised nationally as one of the leading schools in Alternative Provision. It supports the diverse needs of young people in Sunderland many of whom are extremely vulnerable and challenging.andnbsp;

We are seeking to appoint a lead practitioner who will lead on the improvement of teaching skills through modelling high-quality teaching, coaching, and training other members of staff, in primary and secondary schools.

The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of highly effective behaviour intervention as part of an outreach programme in primary and secondary schools.andnbsp; Working as part of the behaviour team, they will ensure they work with senior leaders, class teachers, SENDCoandrsquo;s and support staff to develop and deliver a range of preventative approaches to behaviour which allow learners to overcome barriers that have prevented them from reaching their potential.andnbsp;

The successful candidate will:

andbull; Have a philosophy focused on achieving high-quality learning and teaching opportunities for every learner.

andbull; An understanding of current developments in inclusive education.

andbull; Have excellent interpersonal skills.

andbull; Experience of delivering various intervention packages to ensure that learners close the gap.

andbull; Experience of delivering effective whole school training
