Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a reputable main dealership located in Bedford. The Vehicle Technician role features a competitive basic salary of up to £39,000, depending on experience, plus performance-based bonuses. The position involves working a 45-hour week with weekends on a rota, providing a structured work schedule. Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

- Conduct servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles to high standards

- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment

- Follow manufacturer repair procedures and technical guidelines

- Assist in achieving workshop targets and maintaining high quality standards

- Keep skills and knowledge up to date through manufacturer training

- Conduct MOT tests (if qualified) and contribute to delivering outstanding customer service

- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure departmental efficiency

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealership or similar environment

- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills with a track record of high-quality workmanship

- MOT Licence desirable but not essential, ongoing training available

- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

- Passion for developing technical expertise and advancing your career

- Experience across multiple automotive brands preferred
