Summary

- Location: Liss, Hampshire

- Salary: £32,450 – £40,560 per annum (depending on experience)

- Hours: Monday–Friday, 39 hours/week

Are you a skilled Toolmaker or Precision Machinist with a passion for high-quality craftsmanship? Join a well-established company with a strong reputation in specialist manufacturing and restoration. In this hands-on role, you’ll produce precision components and assemblies in a modern workshop environment, working from engineering drawings using traditional manual machining techniques. This is an ideal opportunity for a time-served engineer looking for stability, variety, and ongoing skill development.

What You’ll Do:

- Operate manual mills, lathes, surface grinders, and perform bench fitting.

- Produce and inspect components to tight tolerances.

- Support assembly, modification, and quality control processes.

- Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient workspace.

What We’re Looking For:

- Completed apprenticeship in Toolmaking, General Engineering, or a related discipline.

- Solid experience in manual machining and toolroom practices.

- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and pride in your work.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
