Summary

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading used van retailer, for the position of Used Van Sales Executive. This is an excellent Van Sales Executive opportunity for experienced automotive sales professionals seeking career growth within a dynamic and expanding company. The successful individual will play a vital role in driving sales and building long-term customer relationships.

- Working hours from 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday; Saturdays 9:00am to 5:00pm; Sundays 10:00am to 4:00pm (at least one weekend day per week required)

Duties of a Van Sales Executive:

- Selling used vans, and occasionally 4x4s and cars, along with providing finance, insurance, and additional services

- Conducting the majority of sales via telephone and email channels

- Keeping customers informed of vehicle delivery progress and managing any delays

- Resolving customer queries promptly and efficiently

- Collecting payments and finalising sales

- Explaining warranties, service plans, and vehicle features

- Building strong, lasting relationships with customers to exceed expectations and increase sales

- Maintaining detailed knowledge of the vehicle stock and company processes

- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures throughout the sales process

Requirements of a Van Sales Executive:

- Previous automotive vehicle sales experience is essential

- IT literacy and familiarity with dealership systems

- Valid UK driving licence with minimal points

- Reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Chipping Sodbury

- Highly motivated with a proactive approach to customer service and sales

- Confident negotiation and influencing skills

- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

- Experience in van or commercial vehicle sales is highly advantageous but not essential
