Summary
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispensers to join our team, within our busy extended hours pharmacy. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients. This position requires strong organisational skills, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a pharmacy environment.
Responsibilities
Accurately dispense prescription medications and over-the-counter products in accordance with established protocols.
Assist in medication administration under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Provide exceptional patient care by addressing inquiries and offering guidance on medication usage and potential side effects.
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions dispensed and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with pharmacy staff to manage inventory levels, including ordering and restocking medications as necessary.
Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the pharmacy workspace to promote a safe environment for both staff and patients.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry standards and practices.
Hours of work will include some evenings and weekends Monday - Sunday
